Pierre Dagenais off to hot start with Akwesasne Warriors
In just five games this season, Pierre Dagenais of the Akwesasne Warriors leads the FHL with 12 goals and 10 assists for 22 points and he is a +17. Dagenais was selected in the second round, 47th overall, by the New Jersey Devils at the 1996 NHL Entry Draft.

Akwesasne - Nov. 8, 2011 - In just five games this season, Pierre Dagenais of the Akwesasne Warriors leads the FHL with 12 goals and 10 assists for 22 points and he is a +17. Dagenais was selected in the second round, 47th overall, by the New Jersey Devils at the 1996 NHL Entry Draft.

Prior to being drafted into the NHL, Dagenais made his mark in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League with three different teams. In 197 Games in the QMJHL, Dagenais amassed 150 goals, 116 assists totaling for 266 points. The 6'5" and 215 lbs right winger made his debut in the NHL with New Jersey Devils in the 2000-2001 season.

Dagenais made a few stops between the AHL and the NHL in his career, a short stint in Florida with the Panthers and then made his way to his hometown Montreal Canadiens. Pierre played two seasons with the Montreal Canadiens in 82 games he amassed 22 goals, 17 assists, 39 points. Dagenais left the NHL to play in Europe for the last five seasons, 1 year in Finland, 2 years in Austria and the last two in Russia's KHL.
