Cornwall Bantam Lions win Bronze!

Cornwall - Apr. 15, 2012 - The Cornwall Bantam Lions faced the Brockville Blazers to battle for bronze at the Eastern Ontario Basketball Association's tournament earlier today at St. Mary's High School in Brockville.

It was a fast paced first half as both teams played with intensity demonstrating their drive to win. At half time the score was 26-13 for Cornwall. In the second half of the game, Brockville gained momentum and Cornwall had to fight harder to keep their lead.

The Cornwall Lions were victorious, winning bronze with a score of 47-39. Top points were scored by: Roheel Awan 19, Devon Blackadder 15 and Josh Mesman 7. Both teams demonstrated excellent sportsmanship.
