The Cornwall Motor Speedway got hit by hurricane Irene yesterday morning forcing the cancellation of Sunday`s busy program that involved double features in Sportsman and Semi-Pro along with the postponed Patriot Sprint Tour feature and a complete program in all five divisions.

Cornwall - Aug. 29, 2011 - The Cornwall Motor Speedway got hit by hurricane Irene yesterday morning forcing the cancellation of Sunday`s busy program that involved double features in Sportsman and Semi-Pro along with the postponed Patriot Sprint Tour feature and a complete program in all five divisions.

Please stay tuned this week as decisions will be taken concerning the Sprint race and the features to be completed.

The long awaited Jiffy 200 is next on the schedule with the final race of the Canadian Nationals combined with the 3rd series race of the MrDIRTcar 358-Modified Series trail. The Mohawk Race Parts Pro-Stock series will also be on hand with a 50-lap event. All five divisions will also be in their final night of points as the 2011 champions will be crowned.
