Pigskin Picks - No comeback this week for Tebow against Brady
The Tim Tebow show continues to roll, and at the risk of incurring the wrath of the Divine intervention which has seemed to define his short tenure as the Broncos starter, my best guess is that he will seem somewhat less than godlike when matched up against the Pats Tom Brady. Patriots win.

Antigonish - December 17, 2011 - Pigskin Picks is fresh off a 5 for 6 week which sees my season average come out to 56/73, a 77% success rate. Time is running out on my quest for 80% - lets see what Week 15, which even has a Saturday game, brings!

Dallas Cowboys at Tampa Bay Buccaneers - The Bucs look to be getting into the Christmas Spirit early versus the Cowboys! - their defensive motto to this point in the season has been "give, give, give", and that should continue against a strong offensive team in the Cowboys. This one should be easy pickings for the Boys, who even missing rookie tailback DeMarco Murray should have no difficulty riding the arm of Tony Romo to success against a team that has struggled hugely in recent weeks. Look for RB Felix Jones to finally live up to hype generated in preseason as he hopes to place a bid for the 2012 starters job in big D, and for the Bucs to lose another game. Cowboys win!

Lock of the Week - Green Bay Packers at Kansas City Chiefs -
It should not get much easier than this for the Packers, who face a team with a 3rd string QB, 2nd string RB, and 2nd string coach in Romeo Crennell, replacing the recently fired Todd Haley. The Packers move to 14-0 in a cakewalk!

Upset of the Week - Seattle Seahawks at Chicago Bears -
The Bears continue to struggle minus Cutler and Forte, while the SeaHawks continue to surprise behind the strong running of "The Beast" RB Marshawn Lynch. Look for Seattle to move their record to .500, and drop the Bears to the same. Seahawks win!

Cleveland Browns at Arizona Cardinals -
Starting QB Colt McCoy looks to be out for the Browns, which may not be a huge loss, but the bigger story is the surprisingly strong play of the Cardinals, who are likely to roll with a backup of their own in QB John Skelton. While Skelton has not proven to be a particularly accurate or efficient passer, he has shown an ability to get the ball into the hands of his best playmaker, WR Larry Fitzgerald, a wise move to be sure. The Cardinals win again!

New England Patriots at Denver Broncos -
The Tim Tebow show continues to roll, and at the risk of incurring the wrath of the Divine intervention which has seemed to define his short tenure as the Broncos starter, my best guess is that he will seem somewhat less than godlike when matched up against the Pats Tom Brady. The Pats secondary is certainly vulnerable, but they are likely to see out against the Tebow running option, and force him to throw - not a strength for Tiny Tim! Patriots win (although Tebow gives them a scare)!
