When Harry’s Met Corky
I have a new friend and his name is Harry. Harry’s a sharp guy, some might say razor sharp. And he sure has a handle on things. Yes, I too have joined the Harry’s revolution. For those of you who haven’t heard, Harry’s is currently taking the shaving world by storm, offering a variety of shaving supplies delivered directly to your door for far less than you would pay at the drug store.

Windsor - August 7, 2016 - I have a new friend and his name is Harry.

I first heard about Harry’s from my friend Rick at work. Rick shaves his head as well as his beard, and while I’m not quite ready to take my dome down to the wood, I thought that if Rick was impressed, I would be too. So I went to their website (www.harrys.com) on a Friday afternoon, registered (an easy process) and had my introductory kit on Monday before noon. Talk about great service! (Thanks, Canada Post!)

Included in my kit was a new Truman razor, a travel blade cover and foaming shave gel, which is the best I’ve used in recent memory. Also included was a booklet with some shaving pointers. Harry’s got a sense of humour too. You’ll see what I mean when you join. Suffice it to say that it includes Canadian music legend Gordon Lightfoot and a crack squad of customer service folks who are among the best I’ve ever dealt with.

So guys, it’s time to be like every other Tim, Rick and Harry and join the revolution. You can thank me later. Gotta go, today’s the day my refills are set to arrive, (yep, they e-mail you to let you know when to expect them), and if I take too much longer I’m going to miss my editor’s deadline by a whisker.

TC out.
