Stoney Point - April 7, 2019 - It is that time of year again. It is time for the NHL Playoffs, where 16 teams compete for the Stanley Cup, first team to win 16 games will capture hockey's holy grail.

Will Tampa Bay continue their dominance? Will Ovi and the Caps repeat? Will Matthews and the Leafs surprise? Can PK and Nashville take the next step this year? Will Vegas make a return to the finals? Is there another team that will be the victor? So many questions.

When my Dad was alive, he enjoyed running a playoff pool each season. Since his passing in 2008, his tradition has continued and we are ready to launch the 23rd Annual Hometown Hockey Playoff Pool.

It is easy to join - Just like in the NHL, you must select and dress 20 NHL players on your Fantasy team. Your team will consist of FOUR (4) complete forward lines, THREE (3) defence pairings, and TWO (2) goalies. You will also need to pick the team that will win the Stanley Cup. All 21 players will count towards your total! This year, we will be using OfficePools.com to provide real time scoring and lessen the admin workload (Thanks Murph!)

Entry fee is only $20.00 and the prize break down is 50% of total pot for first, 25% for second, 15% for third and 10% for fourth. Deadline for submission is 7:00 pm on Wednesday April 10, 2019. Last year, we had 101 entries - so first place took home $1,010!
